The best game to clear the Golden Palace bonus is BJ surrender

[/ QUOTE ]

Not if pontoon is still allowed.

[/ QUOTE ]
The ~0.2% difference in house edge amounts to a difference in expected return of under $20 on the $300 bonus. What is more significant is the ~60% difference in variance (higher for Pontoon). In my opinion the slight improvement in house edge is not worth the increased variance. In addition Pontoon plays slower and has a greater chance of play mistakes for the typical person, who is less familiar with the strategy tables.

[/ QUOTE ]

Pontoon strategy is 3 freaking columns. If you can read, Pontoon is the easiest game.

If you don't like variance, maybe you should try slots. You'll lose your money fast or very fast, so pretty minimal variance.

[/ QUOTE ]
Did you read my reply? It's easy to read the table. That's not the problem. The problem is people don't know the table well, like they often do for BJ. It's an unfamiliar game for the typical player.

Slots have the highest variance of all and would be one of the worst possible choices in the casino to complete a large wagering requirement. Variance is a measure of the deviation from the mean return. If every bet had the same result, there would be 0 variance. If bets might win a jackpot or other large totals, there is going to be a big variance.

Oh, now you get all technical. You say it's worth sacrificing $20 EV just to enjoy playing the bonus blah blah blah. My slots comment was sarcastic- I understand variance and the other Casino terms quite well.

Not just to enjoy playing the bonus... primarily to increase chances that you actually get a near EV result.

So will Golden Palace block US players once the bill is signed?

Hit Golden Palace and Planet and Star. Also, hit Bet365. CON is not accepting applications from US customers, so you missed out if you didn't already do it.

[/ QUOTE ]Bet365 is also currently not accepting US players.

For Golden Palace, do online printed utility bill statements count towards a required document?

I dont do anything via snail mail anymore and was curious if this would meet the requirements before I made my deposit.

GP is telling affiliates, they won't block them for at least 30 days, and maybe longer so there are others I would do before GP, like the lucks and mummy specifically.

The ones who stop taking US players on Friday (Palace Group, IglobalMedia) are not included on the list.

Many of the Microgaming groups recently annouced that they will not be taking US players from the 9 states "affected by the bill" -- Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington, Indiana, Nevada, Oregon, Louisiana and South Dakota. This change includes the Vegas Partner Group, the Fortune Lounge Group, the Grand Prive Group, the Belle Rock group, and Grand Monaco... possibly others. I'll update the list with these changes tonight.
