I'm not familiar with the peaches song, but I doubt that Timberlake writes his own music. If he did, I would be very impressed. That said, I really like Sexyback because its contribution to Post Modernism, which is missing from much of popular music. For one, the concept of "taking it to the chorus" in a song in which there is no bridge is playfully self-mocking. Also, based on the couple times I've heard it, I can only hear JT's voice for about 15-20% of the song. The rest is guest artists and highly computerized vocals. Sure, the beat has been done before, and the hook isn't that inventive; however, this song's commitment to sincerity, and at the same time, awareness of its triteness presents a very unique and enjoyable listening experience.

It's just Peaches. She's a Canadian electronic/techno-y artist. Sorry for being nitty, just correcting.

I also like how the song is played in Lost In Translation.

I have some grudging admiration for 'Timberland' because he banged Britney Spears at the apex of her hotness and then moved on to Cameron Diaz. Best 1-2 punch since Tommy Lee and Heather/Pam.

His music is horrible, and that's pronounced "horr-ee-blay."
