Do you seriously get your kicks off of trying to overanalyze against PBs and the like?? There is one and only one Boz on the Micro's. All other's are imposters.

Um, I don't really understand what you mean? What the hell are PBs? What does bozlax have to do with anything? Who said he wasn't the only boz? (Certainly only he would use that silly moose avatar.)

My thoughts on the flop call were to then C/R on the turn, but then the third diamond fell.

Really a pretty bad idea on this board. He could be raising his fd or straightdraw (straight-flush hands like suited connectors and QJs-like hands are more likely than usual imo since he cc pf). And if he does you should never check to him since he'll thankfully check behind.
3-bet flop. Bet turn.
The way you played it: b/c the turn there's still a chance he holds a hand like top pair, 2p or even a set. Either way you cannot fold.

PB=Poo Bah's, the experts of the forum. Maybe im just taking it personal this morning, but your last posts as im browsing the topics have been a disagreement with people just to disagree (ie, if you don't raise KJo with a limper in front of you than ur just a Weak/Tight nit). Reference to Boz is because that is usually his approach (sarcastic, borderline mean, but highly accurate). My .02 cents.

Jer,

I don't think saying "Folding KJo from middle position against a single loose limper is a definite mistake" is disagreeing just to disagree. It's making a serious point about how to play the hand.

Yes, I tend to add some sarcasm and such for emphasis, but I'm just trying to raise a ruckus.

And if I ever do play devil's advocate, I think that's more useful than 10 posts saying "Yep, check-call the turn."

Well put. Its all good. Devil's Advocate's are good if its a good arguement. My style would be to fold there and wait for a better spot but that doesn't make it "bad" just different. Perhaps i can learn a couple new spots for aggression if the conditions are right.

it is a very scary board, with possible a flush and straight out...but you have a redraw to quads or a full house with 1 T's, & 3 9's & 8's & 4's -- 10 outs or approx 20% chance

generally, if you have better than top pair top kicker on the turn you should raise a bet

also there are only 2 other players, so it is possible no one of the others have filled up their draws.

so try for a check-raise here; and call a 3bet then c/f the river
