Similar logic as what you see behind most term limits

As much as the Dems were kind of with us on this one, they still oppose most everything I believe in on defense and economics. So I can't stomach voting for them. I won't be voting for most Republicans now either. I've always been pretty libertarian anyway on social and economic issues. So I guess I'll vote my conscience next time around.

I've long maitained that the letters to the editor I write to my local paper hold a LOT more power than my vote twice a year (we tend to hold our municiple elections in the middle of the summer, and I deem them to be a LOT more important to my wellbeing than the national or state elections every November).
