most girls are only friends with guys they kinda want to sleep with. they just pretend otherwise.

i think it's dumb to tell her you can't be her friend anymore because you're too into her, just make it clear you'd be her boyfriend given the chance, but if not, you'll live and remain her friend. girls hate ultimatums.

Take it halfway--tell her that you're really interested in more than friendship, and that you don't really know if you can still be her friend, given your hard-on errrr feelings. You'll just have to see if you can handle it.
