Re: The Fishtank: Kazana
Tks for doing this kazana - I think learning from people that only recently have played these stakes helps- thats one reason why I thought tufat in the well was good for us MCNLers.
Lacquer and your name - I guess you have some Japanese connections n'cest pas? Hingis is OK, I used too like here but here's my 3 -kournikova, handtuchova, munkeykova and flame me - Justine Henin. You play at FT I see? What specific attributes do FT players have that are different from other sites? How do you handle 1/2 stacks and shorties because of the asine buyin system( plz fix this FT)? 1 more if you don't mind what times (ET)do you think are best to play at? |

Re: The Fishtank: Kazana
[ QUOTE ]
What are some things you do to evaluate your game? [/ QUOTE ] I always, I repeat, ALWAYS analyse the hands I went all-in. These are the spots where I potentially lose the most money due to some stupid error. The error often results from some small stupid mistake (e.g. calling a single raiser with 64s, taking hand too far postflop, and suddenly feel "committed" - or short: outplayed on every level). [ QUOTE ] What is your opening range (in general) at a 6-max table? [/ QUOTE ] Gee, these are always difficult to answer because this depends a lot on teh villains and the dynamics. Typically, I only open-raise. On my average tight day it'll look like this: UTG: AJs+, AQo+, KQ, 22+ UTG+1: add ATs, AJo, KJs CO: add A9s, ATo, KJo, QJs, often SCs down to 54s BTN: add Axs, A7o+, any suited broadways, some suited 1-gappers down to T8s SB: roughly the same as BTN. Depends a lot on BB, if he's very loose I tighten up to CO level, if he's very tight I raise almost any 2. |

Lacquer and your name - I guess you have some Japanese connections n'cest pas? [/ QUOTE ] Non, pas du tout. In fact, the eastern asian market is the only automobile market where the mojority of manufacturers don't use out coatings. [ QUOTE ] You play at FT I see? What specific attributes do FT players have that are different from other sites? [/ QUOTE ] I can't answer this correctly, I only have about 2-3k hands NL outside FTP (mainly at Party and Stars), and when I played outside I ran at like 20+BB/100, in other words: HOT. I have noticed, though, that FTP players seem to be a tad more aggressive, and know when to fold a lot more often. [ QUOTE ] How do you handle 1/2 stacks and shorties because of the asine buyin system( plz fix this FT)? [/ QUOTE ] If it's heads up vs a shorty, I revert to shorty style myself. Meaning: Everytime they enter the pot I make clear that they have to play for their stack. I'll also be more willing to push/3bet preflop. [ QUOTE ] 1 more if you don't mind what times (ET)do you think are best to play at? [/ QUOTE ] Hmm... I'm currently living in Dublin. I think we're 5 hours ahead of ET. I have had the best results during the weekday mornings here - weird as it may seem. Thus, monday to friday, 3am - 7am (ET) seems to work good for me. I'm not a big fan of the saturday & sunday maniacish tables. I really struggle to tell blind aggression from a maniac from him having a solid hand. I often choose a rather tightish table (in comparison to the rest) on those days. Still usually means the avg VPIP is around 30-35. |

Re: The Fishtank: Kazana
[ QUOTE ]
What are your poker goals? [/ QUOTE ] My current poker goals are strongly connected with my real life goals: Short term: I want to push my BR to roughly $12k or more by the end of January. If I succeed I will use a part of the winnings to go to St. Kitts to see South Africa take on the Netherlands in the Cricket World Cup. Long term: I want to be able to earn enough through poker to have the option of going pro. Since my wife and I want to live in a couple of different countries, poker just might be the perfect job. [ QUOTE ] Would you like to go pro? [/ QUOTE ] I'm not sure. I like my profession (I'm a programmer), so I think I'd rather play part-time. But, if my poker earnings should surpass my "real life" earnings by far, then I might give it a try to see if I like it. [ QUOTE ] What does your family business do? [/ QUOTE ] I have answered this before. So you can scroll up for more details. Cliff Notes: They produce lacquers and coatings. [ QUOTE ] How old are you? [/ QUOTE ] 29 |
