People say Gold sucks but he got players to call him with the worst hand and fold when they had the best hand. I'd say he played pretty damn well.

Isn't it interesting that the only supporters Gold had there rooting for him were his mother, Johnny Chan, and that huge tatooed biker looking dude (bodyguard?). He must be as big a douche in person as he is on TV to not have any friends.
That call to his father at the end was so contrived it was pathetic. I'll bet his father never sees a dime of that money. |

[ QUOTE ]
Jamie tells his opponent he needs a Queen to win the pot. His opponent doesn't have a Queen and calls anyway. His opponents simply weren't paying attention to what Gold was doing. Wasicka was at this table with Gold for too long to make that mistake. [/ QUOTE ] Actually I thought Gold sounded like he had A8 or K8, 2nd pair of some sort. In that case, Wasika would have had him beat. |

The board was Q85.
I think AC deliberately extended his talking sessions with Jamie Gold so he could get a better read on him - Wasicka got talked into a call. I do think Jamie Gold was a big tellbox but it's easy to say when you can see the cards. It seemed like he only got up from the table when he had a hand he knew was the winner. |

I'm pissed that ESPN came back from commercial in middle of Rhett's bust out hand, that was really really piss poor IMHO, same as every other time they've done it, and especially since it was final 5.
and NO I didn't read the entire thread, if this was mentioned already... |

He also had KK shown (vs Binger's KK) and KT (also vs Binger's KT). I'm sure there were others that I don't recall off the top of my head. |

Is it just me or was the card flash to binger a blatant offense that should not have been allowed to pass? IF you are willing to accept Jamie Gold's table talk about his hands which was already scraping the line of legitimacy, you have to insist that he get penalized for that jack flip. :\
