A9 is possible for Villain here too.

I don't know if I call this, but it's a crying call or puking fold either way.

Did SB do anything stupid to build his stack up to 2700? How did he get all those extra chips in L1?

[/ QUOTE ]

All I saw is that he called an all-in from a short stack with a pocket pair and busted him. Not a lot to go on.

Early stack-up run widens his range. A9's too easy to put him on. Flop and turn justifies it, but by river, he's actually repping A9 instead of having it. Repping it, has T7 or a higher overpair, but not one that's beating KK. That's a range you're ahead of all day.

Coldcall SB range's wide, he's got the stack to withstand a flop bet with practically anything that needs improvement with a decent number of outs.

That river maschimo bet's only a smack in the face online. Offline, the context is different. It's a verbal declare.

Depending on the level of the sat, it's a gunfight at showdown. Retarded analogy, but ya know...

This is probably easier to fold in a B and M rather than in a video game.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm not surprised there was no consensus, as it's pretty tough to figure what to do here in L1 of a satellite.

In the actual hand I thought about it and folded. Villain showed Q7o for total air. Makes you wonder...

i've recently been thinking about this a lot. i think because stevejpa just posted a hand where he AI bluffed the river and kramer's borgata post where the guy pushed with QQ on the K high flop. i recently pushed the river with complete air in some insignificant tourny, because of the recent threads like this, where you think, there is no way that guy makes that play without ________ or air. its that 10% that everyone factors in but nobody really accounts for.

sorry ,i 'm a bit drunk. but good thread.

Flop is ok - you can bet up to pot there though.

I'm definitely raising the turn here -- if you raise there, you are probably taking down the hand. If not, you will at least get more information as to where you are in the hand.
