Re: Best movie scene/song combos
[ QUOTE ]
In Rocky II, when Adrian has just awoken from her coma, she says she has something she wants Rocky to do and calls him close and then she whispers "win." The bell rings and then the music and the training montage and those moments are some of the best ever in film, imho. Really, just the very begining/transition of scenes there is awesome. [/ QUOTE ] The winner by far is the fight with Apollo in part 1. Starts right when they get really heated at the end of a round and want to kill each other. Bom bom bom bom bom bom BOM BOM... |

"Sister Christian" in "Boogie Nights". This scene is extremely unsettling.

I like the school scene in Donnie Darko, with Head over Heels by Tears for Fears.

Re: Best movie scene/song combos
too many good ones here to pick a winner. Karate Kid is excellent, as is Layla in Goodfellas, as is Rocky.
there are also a few great ones in Casino. |

Re: Best movie scene/song combos
I liked it when they played Somewhere Over the Rainbow in Face/off during the shootout.
Yeah I know it was cheesy and had been done before, but I still liked it. |
