In fact I think you could make a pretty strong social consciousness argument to that effect: i.e. the philosophy 101 argument "you have an opportunity to end all disease but to do so you have to murder one innocent child" (or 30 or 100)... 50% chance of money that doesn't just change my life, doesn't just change the lives of my family and friends: it puts me in a position to literally affect change on a global scale... yeah I'd take the shot. Oh, and ridding the world of Gates / getting revenge for Windows was a possibility I hadn't even considered, nh RED FACE.
