The Trop is getting a new room ??? Does anyone have any other information about this ... I've been playing there over 10 years and always liked the room at the Trop !

Have you seen a psychiatrist? Perhaps can prescribe something to help you break the addiction

As it currently stands the Trop has the worst dealers/management/staff in AC from my experience to date. I can't compare with Ceasers/Harahs because Ive never had a reason to play there.

yea, the taj really needs a lot of work. I gave up on it after just a couple of trips, mostly because the borg just blew it out of the water. Hopefully the NL waiting list problems will be addressed a bit more.

I walked through the Taj room on Sunday morning at 12:30 AM and they had most of their tables occupied, and they were running a tournament in the room outside of the main poker room. The only major difference I saw in terms of games was there weren't too many high limit games going, but otherwise the room action looked fine.

Define high limit please. Also keep in mind that the Borg has a very large tournament going on, there is bound to be some crossover this week.

From a business perspective, high limit poker players are more likely to play high limit -EV games. Thats why the Taj management is so desperate to get these players back.

I didn't look too closely at the high limit pit in order to respect the player's privacy, but they had a 20/40 game running there, which I am not used to seeing. I believe I saw other games that would not be in Borgata's high section running there. I did not notice the high stud games I am used to seeing in there (400/800 for instance). I think I did see one game with black chips (100s) being played, but it was the exception. I have not been there in about three months, so I don't know what the usual breakdown of games is.

Also, I noticed about three 20/40 games running, and about three 10/20 games running. The Borgata poker room was full, along with the tournament being played upstairs in the Event Center.

There are a couple of bad dealers, but I find it tolerable. I like that I can call ahead for a poker room rate, which I can't do at the Borgata anymore. It's my 2nd favorite in AC, although maybe it's time to give the Taj a shot again.

Borg has all the big stud games including 400-800 (sometimes 500-1000), 150-300 and 75-150. I hear Taj does get 75 going occasionally, but I'm not sure how often - I haven't been back in awhile - the stud action is hot at Borg though.

Aren't Taj and Borgata owned by the same person(Trump)?

There's an easy way to see if a casino is Trump owned.
