White Sox fan...either the '94 strike or the White Flag Trade.

Oddly enough, this is second for me, because 1987's collapse in the NLCS affected me more profoundly...not sure why.

This is by far my worst moment as a fan. I was too young for the 87 NLCS, and the 89' WS was a mess. This moment wouldn't be as bad, if Dusty Baker had not taken out Ortiz... and as he's walking off, Baker calls him back and gives him the ball. A shudder ran down my spine when I saw that. It has haunted me ever since.

A distant second (actually my 1st for about 4 months till the WS) is Game 4 Lakers/Kings, Divac swats the ball away and Horry does what Horry does. Devastating.

For a single moment, when AV banged the field goal through that sealed the deal for the Pats over the Rams.

For a more extended period of time, the '04 World Series. My girlfriend tells me I was an absolute terror the whole time and for a week or two afterwards.

To those saying the 03 NLCS: Ha ha!

Grady Little leaving Pedro in

although the Patriots losing @ Denver last year was an incredibly frustrating game, especially for 'just' a divisional playoff game

[/ QUOTE ]

The Pedro thing is up there for me.

For a non-critical game, I got majorly annoyed with the Celts/Doc Rivers this past season, in game 2 (maybe 3) versus the Pistons. Up by 1 with a second left, and he DOESN'T GUARD THE INBOUND PASS!!! Rip gets a wide open look and the Pistons win. I knew it was going to be a long season of dissapointment.

Yanks losing to Red Sox in 04.

Barry Sanders losing in the playoffs and then retiring before he had the chance to win something.
