Better to be older or younger sibling?

im the middle brother (all boys)
i am 2.5 years younger than the oldest and 2.5 years older than the youngest. Honestly preferrred being the older brother to being the younger brother. However I think if the age gap was bigger I would prefer being younger. My friend is 24 (my age) and has an 8 year old brother. When youre younger you tend to fight with siblings so it sucks being younger. However in this 8 year olds case he is treated great and get s alot of extras from his older brother.

My bro is 6 yrs older than me. Kicked major ass anytime someone wanted to start with me. He was the typical protective older brother type and I loved it!!!
