Everyone suddenly needing a college education to make decent money and not getting smarter as a whole. Top to bottom, education systems suck, period.

I am starting college next Tuesday.. I only have 2 introductory type courses this semester (ya I know, LOL).. Anyways, I haven't got my book yet and I'm considering ordering them (My mom just took one of the courses that I'm starting so I'm using her book for that one)..

Amazon.ca says they will arrive at my house by September 7-8th, meaning that I won't have the book for my 1st 2 classes..

So for anyone who knows.. Will I need my textbook for the 1st two classes? I'd rather not have to drive all the way to the college bookstore to pick them up..

Thanks in advance.

Make friends in the class and share/borrow until you get your books.

Also, find out when the last return-by date is for the school bookstore. For books you only need the first month or so, buy them, take good notes, and return them for full credit before the return deadline. This works good for English and History type classes.
