Dean, you've played with me. Am I a bad player?

Again, you're misunderstanding. I'm not saying it's ONLY because of my read. It was pot odds + chance of CO not raising + backdoor draws + set outs + gut feeling + hand ranges + reads. On the turn, some of those factors changed. I had no more backdoor draws, less pot odds and their hand ranges tightened up.

unless your read is that neither of them would play hands containing aces or kings that way preflop or on the flop, your flop play sucks.

i'm pretty sure that wasn't your read.

I too am a bit skeptical of kurosh's "higher level" plays, but I think you guys are being too hard on him. He obviously knows that simply peeling here is incorrect, but he read the first guy correctly, and so he called. Tough for him that the second guy messed things up.

We aren't being harsh - he says he folded the turn because he put the BB on an Ace, but what exactly did BB do in between Kurosh's flop call and then turn that changed Kurosh's read? Let me get this right - the guy leads into a field on a AKx flop in a capped pot and Kurosh puts him on less than a King, but then the guy calls a raise getting 1,000,000 - 1 and suddently he has an Ace?

kurosh's second to onlymistake here is defending something based on reads that has evidence enough against it to make it a not close fold. his first mistake is clearly his flop play.

other than that though i like the hand.

I think everyone can agree with this statement. But I just did a large trawl for 'Mr +EV vs anyone' and he usually is relatively good to go. Maybe he does have an amazing super ability...

He's certainly a winning player...

i dont even call the flop bets.

results dont matter here, it was a rare case that it gets capped like a billion ways and nobody has an A or K.

yeah, dont much like the flop play, kurosh your reads suck

[/ QUOTE ]

some call them reads, others call them spews.. either way.. getting trapped for 2 bets on this flop is disgusting, you have to be right 110% of the time for this to happen.

cold calling with the capper behind you, is like saying "hi, have $100 "
