it sounds like ppl are willing to stack off with overpairs oop for 100BB's on 2-fl boards a lot more than i thought...

you make it seem like having an overpair is a bad thing.

that's not how i'm trying to come across. just seems weird when action goes limp limp i pot AA/KK/QQ from sb, one limper calls, i 2/3 pot he minraises, i push? it's never felt like a comfortable spot because i feel like it's exploitable by better players/higher limits.

maybe doing these hands w/ only 100 BB's is not a good example - but most online games are structured this way. i guess i just don't see good players pushing these flops oop regularly with overpairs, but not quite sure what exactly they are doing b/c i can't see their cards. usually it's nfd or some kind of AK or combo draw hand.

what if villain calls and turn blanks, how much are we firing assuming turn < Q?

camelzoo,

i think your thinking is generally correct, and while obv you cant assign an arbitrary value to having an overpair, with 100bb stacks, im usually looking to stick it in, unless villain is holding a big red stop sign at me.
