Re: The Steve Buscemi Badge of Quality.
[ QUOTE ]
Besides being a regular in season 5 he directed some episodes in prior seasons. [/ QUOTE ] That's an understatement. He directed the "Pine Barrens" episode, which is considered by most to be the best episode of the series. |

Re: The Steve Buscemi Badge of Quality.
Slight hijack. Has anyone seen Twenty Bucks? I remember seeing this movie back in around middle school, but nobody I ask has ever heard of it. It isn't a that great of a movie but has a good cast, and if I remember correctly, I found it entertaining at least.

[ QUOTE ]
Armageddon and Con Air are horrible movies, although I don't classify either as "Steve Buscemi Movies". Like others have said, Tree's lounge is really good. I liked Big Fish as well. Overall, Buscemi has had a solid career and is one of the better (and definately least appreciated) actors around. [/ QUOTE ] Ah, C'mon, Armegeddon was cool. Scholckly, but cool. Would have been way better without Liv Tyler/Ben Affleck corny romance though. Bruce should have just had some broken hearted woman at home whose love was redeemed by his nobility of blahblahblah.. So, Steve Buscemi, - Great Actor, fire fighter, 9/11 volunteer, family man, good director and all around nice guy. I hate that dude. |

I taped it off of cable years ago, and have watched it multiple times. |

Stabbed in the throat, head and arm during a barroom brawl at the Firebelly Lounge in Wilmington, North Carolina. The brawl also involved Vince Vaughn, who was arrested for brutalizing one of Buscemi's attackers. [/ QUOTE ] Yet more evidence that Wilmington sucks... LOL at getting stabbed at the Firebelly Steve Buscemi is awesome and I can't think of a truly bad movie I've seen him in NT |

Re: The Steve Buscemi Badge of Quality.
I saw half of Airheads on TV. It was terrible. Armageddon was average and I liked Con Air. I certainly enjoyed each of them more than Escape From LA, for example.

Escape From LA [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, this movie made me cringe as did Buciemi's role and performance. I loved Escape from NY but then again he wasn't in that one. Armageddon and Con Air were fine, mindless entertainment and his character in both was entertaining. But Airheads? A classic! |

The place to get stabbed in the throat back in the day was the Mad Monk, until it burned down. |
