Driver: 1st gen Callaway Big Bertha driver, S2H2, 9.0 degree

3 Wood: Dunlop, from the first $99 starter set I ever got in 1990. This thing looks like it has been through war, but I hit it 250 straight 90% of the time. Actually use this more than my driver, its so reliable.

Irons: 2-SW, Wilson Staff Ultra .45's

Lob Wedge: 64.0 degree Dunlop

Putter: RAM Zebra mallet. Just started using this after the $12 Spaulding I got from Herman's back in 1990 started to rust.

Someone that owns a 10.5° offset driver and carries an X-16 5 iron as their longest, also owns a 2 iron? Can I possibly be reading this right?

Love my 2i, just no room for it right now.

3,4,5 Hybrids are essentially irons.

edit: The 5i should be coming out soon and the 2i back in, but at the momment, the gap between my 5 Hybrid and 6i is about 25 yards, so I haven't...

Irons: SW-3i from Golfsmith. The clubs are at least 15 years old. Borrowed them from a friend who then fell off a mountain in Glacier Park. His folks told me to keep them so they have lots of sentimental value.

5W-3W-Driver from Purespin. These kind of suck but I got them in the plastic off of Craigslist for $100.

Why was the asian golfer thread locked? That was a classic in the making!

On a related note, I am postive every asian has a camera in their bag along with their honma driver that is almost always about a foot longer than they are tall.

Ping driver 10 degree with NV shaft that is a stiff regular or flexible stiff. All other shafts are standard stiff. Cleveland 3 wood 13 degree. Ping 5 wood 17 deg. Ping 7 wood 20 degree or 3 iron. Irons ping white dot .5 in longer than standard, 3-SW. Wedges are 48,52, 56 I think. I may switch wedges. Might have to go back to blades at some point too. Maybe not. Putter is a 25 year old forged putter from Old Master. Some ping putters currently gathering dust. Might get a custom putter. I prefer a traditional look and feel on the putter and often don't like the lie of a stock putter. Old clubs were hogan blades circa 1983 and wilson staff sand wedge. Might have to get the lies adjusted and play them once in a while. Handicap 11 and falling baby. Starting to get back into the game more. 76 the other night with an OB triple and 4 birdies in the mix. yeah, I'm consistent.

tmfs,

Give us a heavy putter reveiw.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd also be interested in this.

I like it, but it definitely has a different feel to it and takes some getting used to. Unfortunately I only had it a week before I hurt my rib so I haven't putt with it too much on the course. But as far as on the putting green and putting on the carpet it feels better than any putter i've used, although the price is pretty steep.

How much does it cost? How much heavier is it than a normal putter?

If anyone I caddied for every bought a club named "the heavy [anything]" it would quickly become the heavy face smashing device. Lesson: I hope you don't make any poor kid carry it.
