Maybe I'm nuts, but I would think BB would turn raise if he had an 8. I would just to make anyone pay that might be drawing to the flush.

Most people check-raise the turn if they have the 8. Call expecting a split.

Re-raising with KJ is pretty bad. No one is going to fold a king and there is some chance that we are beat. The dude with quads will cap and it will be two bets wasted. When we split the cap doesn't get us anything extra.

On the same token, 3-betting with kings (top full) is just as bad. Now if you had aces it might be worth making it 3-bets. It still might not be the best play but that is the only hand I would consider a re-raise with (aside from quads).
