I suppose this depends on how she reacts to your overreacting. If she says that she won't talk to him but she does, then you have a problem. If she fights back and says that you are being silly and have nothing to worry about, then you have to tone it down and believe her. Although it's probably too late.

Either way, she probably should have warned you that she was going to Washington, knowing that you'd be a little sketched out. Bad sign that she didn't.

Also, this advice is meaningless, because I also believe that those two will bang in Washington. And I'm sure all of us suggesting this isn't going to help you be any less paranoid...

I've noticed this too. It bothered my last girlfriend that I wasn't jealous. WTF? I have never heard a guy say that he wishes his girlfriend was more jealous...

She eventually wanted to date someone else. Presumably someone who had the decency to be more jealous.

Seriously though, believe it or not I was way more jealous than this at one point. I have calmed it down a lot, but I know I still have a long way to go. This relationship has been steadily degrading for the past month. I am moving down to San Diego in less than a month though.

There's a very fine line between being:

(a) overprotective/jealous whiny guy and
(b) strong enough to not be walked over

The problem is, every female likes to test this line as often as they can, because they want as much backup dick as possible.

You probably overreacted a little bit, but she's still interested in him.
