Um, what happened to my army in BUD?

Did it get disbanded, or did it move to GAL (the only legal move)?

I'm kinda irked that I got a negative point for a late move when I only had one legal move...

... if it was disbanded, could you please rollback that turn and reissue my only legal move?

Also, am I stuck with my fleet up north for the rest of the game? Can I voluntarily disband that fleet in order to build somewhere else? (Not saying that this is wise, just curious about the game mechanics).

You can disband it if it is dislodged, instead of retreating.

You can also disband it if you ever have less supply centres than units.
