I got a good chuckle out of this one, I would put the number a little closer to 30% would return it, and you could put me in the other 70%. Losing your wallet sucks and happens to alot of people, walking around with 750 G's on your waist makes you criminally stupid or just a criminal, and the guy is a lot better off having someone find it in the bathroom than what alot of people would do to him (esp in vegas) for that kind of cash.

This thread is hilarious. I love everyone who says "I'd keep $x and return the rest." Makes no sense at all. Don't do things half-assed. Either be a thief and keep it all or a good person and return it all. There is no middle ground.

In hindsight, reading this, right now, I can go ahead and say "sure, I'd hand it in to security and do the right thing".

But in real time, if I went into that crapper, found that belt, and found just the first inkling of cash in that belt and realized there could be a ton more in it, I'd hold it in (or drop and don't bother wiping, seriously), get my pants on, throw the belt into a bag, and head for the door as normally as possible.

Then freak out after counting the money up at home.

Then realize I can't go back to the Rio for quite some time, i.e. the WSOP has cleared out for a good couple months.

eh, if i found someones wallet with a bunch of cash in it i'd rather steal the cash and send in the wallet than to take it all, cause getting your ids and stuff stolen sucks
