Yea I was thinking the same thing. It's gonna suck for OP when roomie leaves the door unlocked one day and OP comes back to find the room stripped.

That is a super sweet dorm room. You should definitely be banging lots of chicks there. I do not understand how anyone is saying it does not rule, except out of pure jealousy.

I, too, am confused by the layout. Please MSPaint a line drawing of the room layout of the whole thing (door, roommate's area, etc).

Its actually known as a "shared dorm" run by the university but for a little more money a month you get a little bigger space but still in a dorm enviroment.

The curtain is so he has privacy and then we have a common area sorta with all my [censored]. I know the guy he is my fraternity brother...its not like I just got some random roommate and told him to stay behind the curtain or else.

This makes a lot more sense than your earlier post. Yeah, it's a pretty sweet setup. But why not just live in a normal apartment if you're gonna set it up like one?

There are no nice apartments within 10 mins of campus.

I can walk out my door and be in class in 5 minutes.

These are only 480 a month anything comparable and further away would be twice this much.

My parents agreed to pay my rent if I lived on campus.
