It's be nice if they could run up the score for any starter besides Halladay. I think he's in the top 5 in the AL in run support, and he's not the one who needs it. Why can't they throw 12 runs behind Janssen one of these days?

I hope they make the playoffs, but realistically they probably won't they need to leap a bunch of teams.

The Jays clearly are down on McGowan and League. So why not trade them for Lugo if you can Lugo signed up beforehand? Lugo on top of that lineup would be pretty nice.

Even though they are down on them trading them for half a season of Julio Lugo isn't worth it IMO.

Apparently my reading comphrension sucks. Change my answer to I don't think they can resign him to a contract both parties would like.

This could be the stupidest trade idea ever.

2 young fireballers with huge potential for an OK 2nd baseman? No. League could be the setup man next year. McGowan will hopefully continue to develop and could be something. Lugo's not even much of an improvement over McDonald :/

Giving up 2 prospects for Lugo is ridiculous for the Jays.

They're not going to make the playoffs this year. There was little to no chance of that happening anyway, and they haven't played well enough.
