Damn. I don't want to start yet another burrito thread.

oddjob: I disagree - a lot of people, including people on these message boards, think chipotle is awesome. (I am not among them, BTW, but just pointing that out.)

Masked Man, or anyone: Can you compare/contrast adovada and al pastor?

All: If you're in the SF Bay Area, check out Taqueria La Bamba in the hoodlike section of Mountain View on Old Middlefield Road. Get food to go. Retire to a safe location. Eat. Enjoy.

(...and, to go completely offTopic, that place is only a couple of blocks away from a bar called Fancesca's which is now the home of Uncle Franks BBQ!)

Wow.. gotta try Uncle Franks! La Bamba is good.. but you should try Tacos Jalapa in Sunnyvale (Mathilda and El Camino) over by where the old Olsen cherry orchard used to be. Get a burrito Jalapa which is their wet burrito... and you won't have to eat for a week afterwards..LOL

Their traditional tacos rock as well.

m2d: I understand what you're saying, but I used to work in the tech park section, and it's tough to think of a bunch of office buildings as the 'hood.

bravos1: I will give that place a shot.
