SB was calling everything preflop, and I had UTG at 15 vpip, so I put him on a drawing hand (at the time i didnt realize he was so tight UTG, I just checked that afterwards). I just wanted to charge them to see the flop, and I think its easier to play postflop if you make the larger raise preflop.

I normally play KK as if it was AA. Perhaps I need to make adjustements in this game.

completely disagree, it's easier to play post flop if you make a smaller raise pf as you are deeper on later streets and can make more decisions. this is assuming you think you are a better post flop player than utg which i assume you are and think you are...also, what other hands are you making it $400 to go with pf outta the bb after a limp and a sb complete?

yup, making a big pf raise makes your decisions 'easier' but you are going to lose value to smaller pair hands and lost the maximum when u are beat.
