Re: wtf, a hand?
FH, is this pf / flop plan something you do often vs a speeding player?
I think c/c is a valid option on the turn as he's quite likely to fire again, and we really don't want to lose him be leading too much on the turn here. If his turn bet is small though, we may have to c/r (don't have to ai) to set up a larger pot on the river. So I think I c/c a big bet planning to lead river and c/r a small bet. |

FH, is this pf / flop plan something you do often vs a speeding player? [/ QUOTE ] not really, I would reraise him with position, out of position I usually just let him take it. I just thought this time I would do it (also,my hands is pretty good to do it) [ QUOTE ] So I think I c/c a big bet planning to lead river and c/r a small bet. [/ QUOTE ] that was also my plan. He leads for $25, I call. River 8. Action? |

Re: wtf, a hand?
Now i think we have to bet - the likelyhood of him checking behind (he must feel like we want to get to showdown now) is too great.
Him folding air on the river isn't the worst thing for us either as he'll know it takes mutli barrels to drop us. |

Re: wtf, a hand?
I don't like your flop line. Why not just repop it preflop? I guess calling is okay sometimes, but I don't like the plan of leading any flop. I would usually check/call or check/raise this flop. I don't like leading out unless you are folding (ie bluffing) or you are 3-betting. Bet/call is just such an ugly line in this spot. What do you do if you miss your hand and he fires pot on the tur? If a Q or T comes, do you lead the turn small for pot control or check and have to face a huge turn bet?
As played, I think this is an easy check/raise. |
