Am I missing something here? Why is everyone saying push KJs in the CO with 8.5BB, we aren't that desperate. SNGPT only says this is a good push if biggie is calling 66+,ATs+,AJo+ and the two others are calling TT+,AQs+,AKo, which is far too tight IMO. I might be stupid or something but I fold this in a heartbeat. Yes we're the shortest stack here, but ICM-wise this must be a fold? [/ QUOTE ] Just in theory... suppose the 3rd place guy was the BB instead of the big stack. Also suppose that this guy's calling range was super loose. Would it be good to push KJs in that situation? My guess would be yes because KJs would be ahead of his range and gambling with the 3rd place stack (who I'd essentially be breaking in the process) means ChipEV ~= $EV. OTOH, pushing into the big stack isn't nearly as good because my equity doesn't increase nearly as much when I double off the big stack as compared to crippling the other guy. |
