AJo is a limped pot is most likely the best hand. Raise it for value. It's easy to get away from post flop.

I will be out of position and I think btn has an implied odds type of hand while I will be OOP...I want him to start paying while I'm ahead and thus reduce both his positional advantage and my negative implied odds later. I am way ahead of the loose players range...raising here is just for value/FE.

Unless you're at a table of weak tighties who are going to let you buy it postflop, you're just making it HARDER to play. I'd rather raise 72o than AJo, ESPECIALLY with button in the hand.

people tend not to limp AQ or AK, so on A high flop you are probably solid, so it goes up a lot in value from a limped pot

So the flop comes J 6 2. Congratulations, you let the BB flop 2-pair with his 6-2. How is it incorrect to put money in the pot when you (most likely) have the best hand? Thin the field and play some poker.
