I make less mistakes with that stack size, and I think players make more mistakes against me.

One reason I like it is that if I 3-raise preflop with a large pocket pair, a smaller pair is not going to have set equity to call me. Ie. opponent raises to 7, I re-raise to 24, then I only have 56 behind. So the smaller pair can only stack me for 3x the bet getting 8.5-1, so they make a big mistake there. If I played the big stack I have 176 behind, and then there comes some times for difficult decisions and/or mistakes.

However, when I double or triple up I don't leave, I play the stack as it stands.

I shortstack every now and then and even the good players make huge mistakes against me. So i can see what you're saying.

EP raises 40 under the gun, i raise to 140, EP calls(???)
flop: 842 rainbow.
check, i go all in, he calls.
he flopped a set of 4s.

Also on Saturday, I lost 3 buyins in 45 minutes live!!!
1st buyin, top 2 pair vs oesd,fd all in on flop, he rivers a straight.
2nd buyin, QQ vs 10s.
3rd buyin, all in preflop for 20 bbs, I had QQ, he had AJ(???) flop Q 10 2, of course he turns a king. =(
