Yeah yeah, Bourne would win in a fight, but Jack Bauer is so much more of a badass I'm amazed this is even a poll.

This was a really hard choice, but I voted for Bourne because - Jason Bourne: "I can tell you the license plate numbers of all six cars outside. I can tell you that our waitress is left-handed and the guy sitting up at the counter weighs two hundred fifteen pounds and knows how to handle himself. I know the best place to look for a gun is the cab of the gray truck outside, and at this altitude, I can run flat out for a half mile before my hands start shaking. Now why would I know that? How can I know that and not know who I am? "

I'd need to hear your definition of badass, by my definition, Bourne isn't even a badass.

I'm curious to hear what your definition is.

My definition of badass.... someone you don't want to [censored] with because you know something bads gonna happen to you

[/ QUOTE ]

That would make [censored] the biggest badass.

Bourne prior to his amnesia and gaining a conscience is clearly more bad-ass than Bauer. But present day Bourne simply doesn't have the all-out killer attitude that makes Bauer who he is. That being said, Bourne is definitely a better fighter, both armed and unarmed, as well as more resourceful when it comes to spy stuff.

Summary:

Bauer - more bad-ass.
Bourne - more able.

It's like comparing Batman and Superman. Obviously Superman has greater powers, but due to his wholesome nature he's not nearly as bad-ass as Batman.

A very good question.

In terms of badass, probably Bauer.

More able, and who I would want on my side - Bourne.

I think of all the situations Bourne has been in, and I think Bauer would have had serious problems - especially some of those one-on-one death matches. Conversely, I think Bourne would have easily taken out those Chinese guys who captured him at the end of last season. However, a previous poster did make the point that Bourne is young - Bauer definitely drew from experience in some of the quick problem-solving situations encountered in the multiple terrorist situations.

Borne for the win, easily.

He bangs much much hotter chicas, plus he's badass even when he doesn't know who the [censored] he is.

Bauer isn't all that great. Sure, he's come back from death several times, but he's also been killed several times. Think about that friends.

Shaj: If chicas enter the discussion you gotta give Bauer some serious props for spawning this...
