Like I said, I would use less extreme force. I feel bad because of the way this girl looked when it was over. This girl was probably 120 lbs. At the time, I was competitive in olympic style weightlifting. I weighed 295 lbs and had a 34 - 36" waist.

By the time she got off the floor her face looked horrifying. Her left eye was swollen shut and her cheek bone looked like it had a black softball attached to it.

ive been in the same boat. keep in mind im about 6'2'' and 330lbs not a pure fatty but not in shape by any means either. bout a year and a half ago, I was escorting a guy outside for just in general being a prick and being loud and obnoxious and drunk. I had to get physical with him on the way out because he kept turning around and trying to push me back. so im moving him outside about 5-6 feet at a time and im less than 10ft from the door when i feel something hit me in the head, then someone jumped on my back, and they kept hitting me. I pushed the guy really hard so I would have enough time to deal with this new problem. I slam whoever it is into the wall right behind me... SHE wieghed about 110 was about 5'2'' (i almost stopped fighting cuz i was like seriously wtf?) and she falls off my back and starts swinging at me again. I throw her into the wall again, spin her around and grab her arms, then the guy comes at me again. I push him back, she spins around grabs my shirt, and she rips it in half. Next part happens pretty fast and i dont remember it much but security cameras are fun to have. Aparently I was about to start swinging at both of them, then Im surrounded by 1 guy who is pissed that im throwing his gf around, about 6 of his friends, and then we are all surrounded by every male who worked there, the other bouncer grabs the girl and drags her outside, apparently i managed to get the guy out myself.

The whole thing lasted less than 45 seconds and afterwards every single employee wanted to see the tape because they couldnt believe that I was about to hit a girl.... My only regret was that I decided not to press charges but i think i handled it okay.

I was in a similar situation last year while camping...

It was dark around my car, we were all sitting around the bondfire. I heard a noise in the direction of my car so I took the flashlight and went to investigate by myself.

I found some really drunk girl stealing water (we had a case of water sitting near my car). She had about 5 bottles in her arms. Since I knew we'd all need the water the next day (we were drunk and were going to need to rehydrate before getting drunk again) I told her to drop our water and leave our site. Keep in mind, if she had just asked for a bottle of water I would have given her one. It wasn't about the water, I just don't like theives.

She started claiming that this was her site and her water. I said: "No, this is my site and my water, now drop it and leave". She tried to argue and there wasn't much I was going to do by myself. I didn't want to touch her or anything so I decided to play the "nutz" card.

I started yelling and screaming at her to try to scare her off. My other friends obviously heard this and started to come over. As she was walking away after dropping the water bottles I stopped the yelling.

I saw the security guys driving up behind her in their quad (I guess they heard me too, good I thought). Then when she was between me and them, she came charging at me swinging. I managed to dodge a couple punches but realized I was going to have to end this.

I hit her square in the jaw hard enough to floor her. She got up and started to stumble away. The security guys got off their quad and helped her to her proper site. I'm only 5'10, 175 lbs, so at least it didn't look as bad as the other guys, plus I can't hit that hard.

I found out the next day that her site was basically 4 sites over from mine and they had the exact same car as I did. She probably legitimately thought our site was hers as she was pretty drunk.

I kinda feel bad for hitting her, but then I remember that it was her who attacked me. I was drunk, and just reacted when I was attacked.
