MUBS- Monsters Under the Bed Syndrome. It's fear of a better hand than yours even though play isn't consistent with villain having that hand, or if there are many hands that villain can have, not just the one that beats you.

FPS- Fancy Play Syndrome. When you play bizarrely even though taking a standard line will get you more money.

See the other guy's AA hand. There are some similarities. At least you didn't fold to the flop raise.

His raise just says "I don't credit you with a king, so I'm going to represent one". You have information that he doesn't and can use it to get paid. It's okay not to three-bet the flop, but check-raise the turn for Pete's sake. As played, bet the river, call a raise.

Actually, the more I look at this, the more I lean towards your line..however I'm still leading the turn, and calling down if raised.
