It's pretty bad if you ask me. Previous HORSE events were not like this, I'm kinda dissapointed. Poker is turning into an entertainment industry... better get used to it. Soon Greg will have his own cheerleaders and be sponsored by coke.

If I am not mistaken, the idea to play NLHE at final table was at the request of the "Players Advisory Comittee", and Dan Negraneu in particular. [/ QUOTE ] They're going to claim that whichever pro wins this event is the real 2006 champ and thus should get more press than whichever unknown wins the Main Event.

At the Super Bowl do they switch up even though they've been playing football the entire playoffs and resort to a field goal kicking contest in the Super Bowl? That's about how much sense this makes.
