Ask almost anyone who produces, and I'm sure they'll agree that Blaze is better than Kanye. I personally don't even think it's close at all.
I think "Touch the Sky" was the best on Late Registration, and come to find out it was the only beat on the CD not produced by Kanye... It was made by Just Blaze. He's nice. If it's really "that easy" to make beats with an MPC2000XL and Protools then tell me how one person like Blaze can make soooo many hits. That's like saying poker is all about luck.

[/ QUOTE ] Wow, I thought that was a Kanye beat. I saw it listed on Just Blazes myspace page but I thought he just had it listed because he liked the song. "Touch The Sky" is one of my favorite songs of the year, and IMO only adds to the range of songs JB produces. Wow amazing.

[/ QUOTE ] He produces the song and generally makes the beats. You can tell man, if the beat is inventive or new/fresh and the layout of the song is good then the producer did a damn good job. For a producer, its very easy to be hot one year and ice cold the next. Just Blaze is one of those producers who is constantly on and always reinventing his sound(not neccesarily his style). Some producers like Lil John or even to an extent Dj Premier rarely changes their sound. The main difference between Lil John and someone like Premier is that Premier's sound is timeless and doesn;t need to be changed and LJ's is just whats hot right now(ok maybe 2 years ago).

This is alright but it's not anything special. I don't think he is anywhere close to RZA or Havoc but I prefer more raw, bare-bones beats than this stuff.
