i saw it for the first time the other day, it was pretty bad

12 is a pile of crap. It looked more like the actors needed a reason to all hang out and LOL with eachother than actually make a decent movie. I was really angry in the theater and couldn't wait for it to end.

I have seen it a few times and never got that impression. I thought he was the son of some other offscreen character that they all knew or something.

WTF in 11, Danny said that Bobby Caldwell recommended Linus (Damon's character), and Linus said "fathers are like that." Later, Reuben said to Linus "you're Bobby Caldwell's kid, from Chicago?" So Bobby Caldwell is his dad, not Rusty (Pitt's character.)

And in 12, Linus's mom comes in to save them from jail, and Linus tells her not to tell dad. That would make no sense if Rusty was his dad 'cause Rusty was there for the whole thing. Yeesh.

Bad bad bad bad movie. How bad was it? Oceans 11 was one of my favorite movies. I'd watch it any time I came upon it. I can't even watch it now because I was exposed to 12.
