My first year of poker, I probably lost $4,000. Not sure how many BBs that was because I jumped around from game to game, knew nothing about proper size of BR, etc. I work full time, so I would just deposit a few hundred every couple of weeks. I'd read a 2+2 book/article, learn something new, get excited, deposit money, play underrolled, and bust. Redeposit the next week.
