I'm not generally a tattoo guy. That said, if I were to ever get a tattoo it would have to actually mean something externally. This does. I like it.

But...

Where I live, this idea would not only be accepted, but likely embraced (especially as US wars across the planet) and those who didn't like it would at least understand it.

The politics of your environment should be considered at least somewhat. Not that you should care to piss anybody off, but you might just spend the rest of your life constantly explaining/defending it.

I live in Canada, and I'm a very easy going, non-confrontational guy, so I doubt very much that I'll ever really have to defend it seriously, but I may get the odd person who doesn't like it. I think I'm in pretty much the perfect situation for this tattoo, really.

I think it's a great idea in principle, but it's too much of an investment to make a relatively small point, and isn't visually stimulating at all. You could probably make the same 'statement' without such a big investment in skin real estate.
The duality of man, the Jungian thing, sir. is a big time lol moment in movies for me.
