I'll admit, my reference to EV had some tunnel vision to it, as I was referring to BJ without consideration of the bonus. Is there a namer for this concept so I could do a little research on it myself? If you know of a website I would greatly appreciate it.

Let's take the intercasino monthly for an example. You
deposit $100 and get a $100 bonus, and have to wager
$2500. For simplicity sake, let's say the house edge is
1%. So, you expected return is $75 in profit on the deal
if you complete the wagering: $100 - (2500 * .01)

Now, let's say every month on this deal, you increase your
bet size so that you bust out roughly 1/2 the time
at an average of 1/2 the wagering completed.

So, now the e.v. of your bonus is actually:
50% * $75 (half the time you are finishing the wagering) +
50% * $87.50 (half the time we do 1/2 the wagering and
lose $12.50 in e.v.: 1250 * 1%) - all divided by 2 =>
($75 + $87.50)/2 = $81.25

if i busted out, i would think that I was -$100.
