If Ivey doesn't constantly play in the big game, it could be because he is playing more profitable games.

Also, do you want to know Ivey's bankroll, or career winnings. His career winnings could be upwards of 50 million, but his bankroll could be 20 million if he has invested his money in stocks/bonds/real estate etc.

I would be surprised if he has more than a 15m bankroll. 1000 bb's in that game is 8m... and its pretty common knowledge (on 2+2) that the other players in the big game were staking phil in that sng. Phil Ivey is no dummy... he's not going to have 20m-40m in his bankroll that hes probably will never touch so I'm sure he has invested a large amount of his winnings. So these guesses of 60m or whatever are way high and those estimates are probably better for if we asked the question what is phil iveys net worth.

Ivey cleared $20 Mil from cash games last year alone.

Enough with these lowball figures. He's at least 50 mil deep.

I also heard that in 2004 he made $24m from cash games alone. He's roll is at least 50mil.

All these $50mil numbers are estimating his net worth, not bankroll, right?

i think for most of these big gamblers their net worth is the same as bankroll. I doubt Ivey would quit gambling if he somehow busted his br.

He spends money folks, he's probably made 50 million but thats not his bankroll. He invests/spends alot of it im sure. Craps has to be at least a 10 million a year leak.

There was a huge article in Bluff Mag where he took Beal for $30mil or so in a couple days. Part of that was split with backers, but hell, that's probably $10-15mil right there in a couple days.

He doesn't always win obviously, but I'd guess he's in the $25-30 mil range, if not more.
