I'd like to take this opportunity to point out that I was into Ali G before you (you = whoever.) I'm so cool.

I was under the impression, perhaps mistakenly, that the cameraman is dressed in a suit while Ali G has the camera, and they switch right before filming begins before the interviewee. Is this incorrect?

did you watch his first appearance on the 11 o clock show? that was cool. Also the show that ricky gervais of office fame got his first real start on for anyone that's interested.

I went to see the 11 o'clock show filmed and I remember seeing Gervais and thinking how much I hated him and how untalented he was. I didn't watch the first series of The Office just because I couldnt believe he was capable of producing anything funny. How wrong I was.

watching ali g was one of the best things about spending a year in England. If you've only seen the american HBO episodes, you should definitely get ahold of his English shows. They are way better IMO.
