Look Niss, you can play this one of two ways. You can play it as a made hand or you can play it as a drawing hand. Never let it be said that I'm a passive little girl when it comes to raising Aces PF, I've posted enough Ace sob stories in this forum to start my own BBV, but in this particular situation given that I'm OOP with a gaggle of limpers to act behind, my side cards suck, and I'm getting a 50% off sale to come into the pot I think it's best to play it as a drawing hand.
You keep making the point that I might've gotten Phil out if I had raised PF, while that's highly debatable, 99 times out of 100 his King high flush is exactly the kind of hand that I want to stay in. |

Your error was thinking your A high flush was good. If you can't see a str8 flush coming you better stick to hold'em.
I am JOKING!!! I don't think you played this hand poorly at all. Limping and raising are both feasible plays. |

Bruce, I found this picture of you, taken immediately after this hand:

Nah, I actually took it pretty well. I think Phil and I both played the hand perfectly, it just so happens that in this crazy, mixed up world we live in a straight flush beats a nut one.

Perhaps you should petition to have the rank of hands changed. It's long overdue.

Under the circumstances presented here, I can't see limping with this hand. I c/f on a low flop; and bang it on any other flop, expecting to take it down. This is why you're having such a terrible May.
