Disclaimer: I am not a fan of real estate right now.
I agree with SM on this one--you have a house that you love, and also you have a house that has gone up 75% in value. If your house value drops below what you bought it for--we all will have more things to worry about, and you will still have a place to live. Unless you need that money for the vacation, I'd say keep it. |

no market based opinions, but the house seems really unique and in a great location. do you rly need a bigger place to have kids? tons of families in nyc raise their kids in spaces smaller than this.
