Elaine,

Please keep your husband "satisfied". Because you should have been reading OOT long enough to know what happens to kittens when unsatisfied men have to take matters into their own hands.

Bluff,
That lame kittens die when you masturbate thing went all the way around the Web long before marsupials joined OOT.

Regards,
Elaine

How bad am i for wanting a puppy from a breeder?

[/ QUOTE ]

You're not bad. Just remember a few things:
-Go to the breeder and see their set-up. You want to know where your dog came from and make sure they're not a puppy mill.
-Ask about the return policy. A reputable breeder will insist that you bring the pup back if you have problems with it.
-Ask the breeder about rescues. Many reputable breeders rescue dogs too. If yours does, it's a good sign.
-Ask about their thoughts on spaying/neutering. If they don't recommend that you neuter your dog, that's a bad sign.

[/ QUOTE ]

Only one thing wrong with this post. The breeder I got my dog from made me sign a contract saying that he's the only guy who gets the dog if I don't want it anymore. That's the kind of breeder you want.

We just got A boston Terrier about a month ago. Possibly the most awesome dog ever.

Caution: House breaking and training are waaaay harder than it seems. So if you never owned a dog (this is my first), prepare for how tough it can be.

Edit to add that any advice or tips on housebreking will be greatly appreciated!
