My roommate and I used to take cans of Axe body spray and a lighter and make flamethrowers in the dorm. I have no idea how we didn't damage anything (except brain cells, most likely).

anyway i used to go to portugal a lot to party in the summer coz my parents have a house there. and portugal is one of few countries where absinth is still legal. so there was a shot there that you drank while on fire but you'd drink it through a straw (stick it in thru the fire and drink real quick). you had to drink it thru a straw or this ^^ would happen. once in a while you started sucking before the straw was in the drink and burn your throat pretty bad.

Yea, the idea is to drop the shotglass into the beer glass. When it hits the bottom gulp everything down. They actually taste pretty good. Everytime I've done it I would get these huge burps afterward. One time I was at some party with a buddy of mine and we drank some of these after already being wasted, at this tiny bar in the corner of the house. After I drank one I immediately burped and some liquid/food came back up. We looked at one another like "OH [censored], you just puked on their floor.." but the dog came out of nowhere and licked it all up almost instantaneously.

I did this in france a long time ago (not absinthe, but a flaming drink drank through a straw). I think it's by far the safest way to do it (I think when I did it, the straw was in before the bartender ignited the shot).
