i heard the tuesday event was canceled because 3 people showed up, can anyone confirm [/ QUOTE ] Confirmed...I first heard it was actually 6 people while I was at the Bellagio ...but it was confirmed later to be three when I retured to the Venetian last night Abosolutly ridiculous...I wonder if the LOW turnout with this NPL,has anything to do with the CEO tour fiasco fallout/association with the Venetian during the WSOP over the summer? Re: Vegas Open?
They rescheduled todays tourney to start at 3pm with late signups until 5pm because of the Bellagio factor.

Re: Vegas Open?
The first $2500 event in this started yesterday. Anyone play in it and/or know how many players it attracted?
61 then 47 then 3; todays rescheduling at 3pm may help the numbers but they didnt get the information on Cardplayer.com as they had promised..... |

What a flop! Wonder how the deep stack in feb will do? Anyone want to flame the venetian about the last two "tourneys" they've held? |

Re: Vegas Open?
Deepstack III should do great.
If the Venetian wants to be featured on TV poker shows so bad, honestly, at this point, they should just out-bid South Point to be the location for HSP. These last two attempts at lower-tier "televised tourneys" have done squat for them and only help to potentially hurt them. |

Re: Vegas Open?
HSP doesn't provide much exposure for the casino. It always seems to be held in a suite, which could be anywhere, for all the viewer cares.
TV poker is on the downslide, but if Venetian really, really wants to be on tv, they should just bend over and bring in WPT. |

[/ QUOTE ] They want the WPT and will gladly spread their legs for it, but can't have it. WPT is exclusive to MGM-Mirage properties in Vegas. |
