open shove turn and you win more money [/ QUOTE ] I like shoving on the turn more than making a small raise that allows sb to shove to reopen action. Sb might not do that in the first place. Your hand will really look like AsKx that is looking to force out a lower flush. |

greek, a shove would be a huge over bet, there was $2.4k in the pot after sb's turn bet and i had over $8k left with button covering me...he's not calling that shove with anything less than a pretty good flush and he's most likely raising a lower flush or set on the flop with the given action.
fwiw, button said after the hand (not that he was very good or anything) that he didn't put me on a flush when i raised the turn... gotta remember live players assume that when you have the nuts you just callcallcallcallcallcallcallcall until the river when you either overbet shove or min raise |
