virus scan done, was fine, didn't solve it. trying the ipconfig commands now. |

I had this problem when I used internet connection sharing. I guess the problem was that it went 'through' the computer directly connected to the router. If you can go direct from laptop->connection rather than laptop->laptop-> connection it would work.
Excuse my post if this is ridiculously obvious (im a computer idiot). |

i tried the router to 1200, that didn't work and the other laptop on the network stopped working. put that back and set this laptop to 1400 from google guide and all good baby!

Somtehing's wrong. It should either fragment outgoing packets (mss clamping) or it should send an icmp "fragmentation-needed" message to your laptop. |
