I'll actually give you a serious response:

If you're not religious, don't bother with the baptism. He's your son, and it's nobody else's business as to whether you have him baptised or not. They'll get over it eventually.

And what does him being of mixed race have to do with him needing to get baptised? Is your family racist? Are they worried that they'll just up and lynch him at some point, and want to make sure he goes to heaven when they do it?

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL at the fact that this is as serious as you can get. (It's gold, but still.)

OP: I agree with Hopey. If you don't really care either way, don't let anyone pressure you into baptizing him.

What in the world does having your kid baptized have to do with your kids future?

Chicks dig mixed dudes, he will be fine.

Hi

Your post is completely devoid of any question marks. Was there supposed to be a question somewhere?

Warik,

I don't want to hijack this thread. But, I had to say this made my night. I busted out laughing.

Carry on.

The line that people give about the bi-racial child having problems is just a signal of their own racist feelings.

[/ QUOTE ]

You were serious with that statement, were you?

Do what your wife or parents (or her parents) want. If you're not religious, it shouldn't matter to you that someone splashes water on your kid. If he winds up not religious he won't care either. If he does follow the faith then he'll be glad you did it.
