Good:
![]() ![]() (stairs down to the subway) Bad: The new Wishbone "Salad-Spritzers" commercials on TV. They mimic hair-product commercials and feature girls spraying salad dressing in the air randomly. I don't even care if it's a joke, it's still stupid. ![]() |

All:
Every ad posted in this thread so far is horrible (barring Ayds). You will never convince me that a picture of a woman next to a picture of a product is a good ad. It might have wonderful photography, and that might make it appealing, but it doesn't make it good advertising. I've never purchased Smart Water before, and I don't think this ad will make me start. |

[ QUOTE ]
I was at the beach this morning, and a plane pulling an advertisement was advertising Subway. I guess they thought beachgoers had never heard of Subway, and would run from the beach in search of some Subway nearby. Worst advertising ever. [/ QUOTE ] You don't understand why this is effective advertising? Group sitting on beach is hungry. They see a banner of Subway. They were about to leave to go eat. Now all of a sudden they're hungry for Subway. |

You STILL remember the Subway ad from a long time ago. You also talk to OTHER people about Subway. This sounds like the ad was really worth it. Ads are usually designed to get people subconsciously comfortable with the product via name recognition. |

I seriously never remember what company a 'funny' or 'sexy' commercial represents after I watch it.
Sometimes I think simple boring to the point ads are a lot more effective. |

All,
I thought by now there would be a washcloth ad in this thread featuring FFK. |
